Copilot now has the ability to provide you with more tailored insights through the use of customization options. To access Customization settings:
Navigate to Copilot.
Click on the gear icon to the right of the Copilot header.
Customization options give you the ability to:
Set your role. This allows Copilot to provide more pointed responses to users based on their selected user role.
Copilot answer length:
Concise - This will tell Copilot to provide shorter responses, allowing Copilot to complete its answers faster. This setting is useful for phone calls, meetings, site visits, as well as communicating with high-level stakeholders.
Detailed - This will instruct Copilot to go into more depth with its answers. The result provides more information and context for whatever prompts you provided Copilot, and is great for any research you are doing.
Tone
Explain Like I’m New - This will adjust the tone of Copilot’s answers to include additional information that user’s who don’t typically work with the code may not inherently have, while also making Copilot’s prompt’s more easily understandable.
Talk to me like an Expert - This will adjust the tone of Copilot’s answers to account for industry/role related experience, providing the user with more pointed information directly related to the topic, while minimizing any additionally contextualization that may be needed for users who aren’t as experienced with code, design and building concept.
Context
Make Assumptions - This will allow Copilot to utilize both information in the current thread, as well as role, and other types of information to make assumptions when answering a user’s prompt.
Ask Follow Up Questions - This will point Copilot to ask follow up questions based on the user’s prompt in order to provide more detailed, specific information to the user
Highlight edge cases/exceptions - This will allow Copilot to provide any information on where edge cases and exceptions may apply to prompts and their answers
Anything else Copilot should know about you? Here you can list any additional information you would like to provide Copilot to consider when generating its responses. You can provide information such as a specialty that your firm or role works in, additional preferences on responses, formatting requests, etc.
